About this service
Light Boost uses the power of red light to stimulate your body's natural healing and regeneration mechanisms. Specifically, Light Boost uses 5 difference wavelengths of light (630nm & 660nm red light, and 810nm, 830nm, & 850 near infrared) that offer benefits for a wide array of applications. This mixture of red and near infrared light can pass deeply into the body and naturally activate the body's production of ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate), the energy unit of the cell. The technology used in Light Boost delivers the optimal wavelengths of red and near infrared light at the proper energy levels to the cells, allowing them to manage wastes like nitric oxide more effectively, and to use oxygen more efficiently by minimizing its absorption. Presently, this type of red light is the only effective method known to help activate the cell's mitochondria to help improve performance and overall well-being.

Preparing for the Service
As with all of our services, we recommend drinking plenty of water both before and after the session to help with the elimination of toxins. High quality water is provided at Origin Wellness.
We recommend you disrobe for the service to have the best outcomes, but it is not entirely necessary as the light will pass through clothing.
Sessions last between 10 to 20 minutes in function of the goal for the session.
Contraindications
We request that you do not use this equipment if you have one of the following contraindicated conditions. Risks are not limited to the following so please consult your physician if in any doubt:

- Pacemakers
- If you are taking medications with heat or light sensitivity side effects.
- Any skin conditions with light or heat sensitivity
