If you've spent any times in the mountains or in a forest of Pine trees, then you know that you often feel like the air quality is better under such conditions. Chemical engineer René Jacquier wanted to understand why we feel that way. Thanks to subsequent research, he found that pine tree resin contained chemicals that helps make oxygen more bioavailable to the cells. The essence of pine resin, rich in alpha and beta pinenes, is used in cosmetics for its well-known antiseptic, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-parasitic benefits. It is composed of unsaturated aromatic molecules, which can bond with other chemicals. In the atmosphere, and under certain physical and meteorological conditions, they become highly loaded with oxygen, which makes them very reactive. Based on this natural phenomenon, Jacquier created Oxygen Boost: using the essential oil of pine resin to create an oxygen carrier. The pinenes of Orésine® essential oil, transformed by peroxidation, become facilitators of cellular oxygenation. Jacquier named them biocatalysts. Obviously this is only possible if we learn to breathe optimally, because it seems that most of us are only at 50% of our capacity, which leads to a state of under-oxygenation. This is most likely due to stress and anxiety, although it can be linked with illness, intense physical exercise, age, and altitude. Oxygen Boost will allow you to take a deep breath, relax, and leave you feeling energized and wide awake.
In short, Oxygen Boost leads to a balanced oxygenation of the body. This can have protective effects in the prevention of ill-being, but is also effective for:
As with all of our services, we recommend drinking plenty of water both before and after the session, especially since we often forget to drink adequate amounts of high-quality water.
Oxygen boost lasts between 1 and 5 minutes, but has lasting effects.
Due to its simplicity, there is not much to do to prepare for this service.
